First we knew it in the names of "Laptop" or "Laptop Computer".Later came "Notebook" and "Netbook",or "Notebook Computer" and "Netbook Computer".The names clearly specify the smaller and smaller size of the computer, but they both are still considered as "Laptop Computer".
Look back some 40-50 years ago,when we had only main frame computer and came later a desktop.When a new smaller in size and lighter in weight computer was introduced.And it was so small and so light that it can sit on the user's lap while in use.We called it a "Laptop Computer" or "Laptop".
Laptop is designed for traveling use.The weight is around 1.2 kg.to 3.0 kg.It has a thin flat display screen, a keyboard; a pointing device and speakers. Laptop can also be connect to external monitor or video projector and capable for graphic applications,i.e.playing video,playing games and 3D application and various others.
Laptop is convenient in use and its price is worth the value.No matter it's a Notebook or a Netbook,either of them is still a good alternative for our computer purchasing decision.
